On this forum, Is it possible to post a pic in the body of a message? Not an attachment, but in the message itself.

If the answer is YES, would someone please tell me how to do it?

Sure, just use the <IMG> tag.

The pic is a .gif file on my hard drive it doesn't have a link; no http address. Can you be more specific. I'm computer illiterate.

I don't believe the message board software used by this site allows attachments straight from your hard drive. I think you're going to have to find someone willing to host the picture for you on their web server.
