Yes, as far as I know you can. The only restriction is that you must ride in the back. AS and QX pilots have the same restriction but the good news is we take unlimited jumpseaters.

sounds good...what about if you are CASS? still in the back?

NOBODY is allowed in the cockpit jumpseat into or out of Canada these days. We all are wondering if that includes checkairmen/feds. CASS peeps are more than welcome to ride in the back, though.

Check Airmen and the Feds are allowed up front while conducting business. No one else can ride in the cockpit. AS/QX have not set up the computers to allow the FAA to check who is riding up front 24 hours prior to the flight.

The FAA requires the ability to see who is up front 24 hours prior to the flight. With a few acceptions, like a last minute reserve, check airmen, etc..
