from a prospects view
After i took my first intro ride, which i got to do a good amount of the flying (although i know the instructor was controlling the ruder pedals to correct anything i was doing), i was never asked by either the instructor or the school about future flights. I remember standing in the lobby, saying 'thats it?' to my girlfriend asking if i has to sign something or get paperwork, and the lady at the desk said no. Had anyone said something, i very well might have signed up.
At this point im still picking a school (at republic airport on long island), but i know i wont be choosing the one i took the ride at.
Dont know if im like most prospective students, but with me, all the instructor had to do is ask!
