I was gonna commute home through ORD tomorrow... Easy enough right... Not if your first flight is operated by G0Jets. SYR-ORD...CXLD. The next flight is on time, its operated by SKYWest. Then when I get to ORD... THE MESA FLIGHT IS CXLD... A DAY IN ADVANCE... WTF... United has become a real quality product... Hope I get home sometime tomorrow. Thanks United for contracting to the lowest bidder, and getting rid of a perfectly good airline (AWAC).

Why would you commute on G0Jets?

I've walked off their airplane before... You should do the same.
 
Just curious why you would even walk on to be able to walk off? Did u not see the big Gayjets sticker on the side or smell the stinch?
 
If g0jets is the next plane getting me home, I'm getting on it. I'm gone from home enough not to piss around because G0jets is flying the next plane from ORD-CLT. Let's all sit around in ORD miss the first flight which is G0jets and then miss the next 6 flights operated by UAL that are full with UAL jumpseaters. Then guess what; you get a Hotel and do it all over again. My home time is to Valuable.

This is the DUMBEST thing I have heard!!!...............A lot of you so called professional pilots need to get laid and need to get a life.

Now SF340Guy you are just flat out lying on here. According to the UAL flight info page of their website. Every GJ flight operated out of SYR today (as of now 1/12 1000 CT), and for the last 3 days. No flight were CXLD. So you are just makeing stuff up now. If I am wrong give me the flight number and date.

What a waiste of time.

Sounds a lot like the guy who made up the story about riding the jumpseat and the GJ crew not knowing when to use the anti-ice...
 
Nope but jackasses at BlowJets had an Easy Victor last week while they were getting deiced ..... they forgot to turn off the packs and got white smoke (I wonder from what) in the main cabin ..... lmao

If you read his post you'd see he was talking about tomorrow - 1/13. A quick check of ual.com reveals no G0-Jets operating between SYR and ORD tomorrow. So before you accuse someone of lying it might pay to read the post more carefully.

No you are wrong. He posted it on 11Jano06 at 2323. So tomorrow would be 12Jan06. Even if he is talking about 13Jano06 all 3 of their flights show operating as normal from SYR-ORD. 7927, 7893, 7900.

This is not true either. The only EVAC that GJ has had to date is the doors test in proving runs. If you have other proof of anything else, please share....

This board is filled with more lies and half truths every day.

The gate agent told me it was SkyWest, the logo was covered up... I noticed a tail# ending with GJ when I stuck my head in the cockpit to introduce myself & ask for a ride. Then I left.

I fly with captains that deny G0Jet pilots the jumpseat. I am always leaning on my captain not to let a G0Jeter on our jumpseat and so far we've only denied them from riding with us. If I take a ride on them thats sending the message they can catch a ride with us and thats not true.

I get laid quite often. I just can't take a ride on someone when we tell them no all the time, it's that simple. The people that think this is stupid are the same people that will work for 18 dollars an hour just because they get a uniform and a jet. It's the Riddle kids like that that don't take a stand for anything and doin't realize flying is a job that are driving down this industry. To this day I don't know why people would work at Mesa and G0Jets and even TSA with terrible pay and terrible work rules. I understand all that "feed your family" stuff but guess what - there are other jobs that can pay you better... Like home Depot (or a bus driver, or a garbage man, ect.), you make more if you work there full-time and by your fourth year your a manager and make more than a Mesa captain.
 
Why don't you guys finally stop the G0Jets bashing and get on with your lives. Like it or not, they are a certified 121 carrier that's going to be around for a while and you're not going to change that with your unprofessional conduct toward other 121 flight crew members.

So get over it already and move on to something else! There have been a lot of wrongs committed and suffered in this industry and the G0Jets thing doesn't even merit a blip on the radar screen. Face it, it's Trans States Holdings/management, ALPA and a lousy contract that screwed you, not the pilots at G0Jets.

Let's move on to where pilots are really getting screwed, NWA/Newco, DAL, MidAtlantic, Comair, Mesaba. You Trans States guys have your jobs, maybe you should think about those that are losing theirs!
 
I just realized that I left out Independence and what's coming at ExpressJet. Sorry about that and best of luck to the guys affected!

I am not making stuff up... As of last night when I checked the employee travel line, those were the conditions. Exactly what I stated. If a flight was reinstated, thats fine, but to call me a liar is unjustified. I've never come on to this website to talk against G0Jets (or Mesa that I recall). The first flight is Skywest. I never said it wasn't, I specifically used the word your instead of the, to imply my first option. However I was unable to make it to the SYR airport until 7am due to family reasons. Anyway, it was as I stated CXLD on the travel line, and I can't turn back time to take back my frustration.

OK then Jackass! Play jumpseats wars and lean on your Capt. Once again, I'm not going to avoid GJ's if that is who is flying the plane home. Maybe you have 25 days off a month and have nothing to do except hang out in airports, but I have a life at home. Keep this all in mind next time your trying to get home for a family emergency and you get denied by "some" Capt.

I don't get denied, most likley because I don't work for a SCAB airline.

I'm just curious why this guy's is complaining. Does he really think that there has never been a commuter that's been stuck somewhere because an AirWis flight cancelled ??? WTF ? So a GJ flight cancelled, BFD !!!

Move to your domicile or get used to getting stuck places. It's the whole reason I got out of airline flying to begin with... Commuting sucks, get used to it.

I work for one of the companies that you mention are "getting screwed" in your seccond message, I guess thats why I'm so bitter towards all these guys. I'm starting to realize whats going to happen when the bid comes out on our flying and it's a little upsetting.

Problem solved. I went into the FlightInfo User COntrol Panel and found that my time zone was set to somewhere in Europe. So more like an honest mistake than a lie. Now I've got it set up so the timestamps match my time zone.

Hard to say whether the original poster was making stuff up or not. Lowball operators like G0-Jets and Mesa cancel more of their flights than better carriers. If they were able to provide a superior level of service they'd have all the flying rather than just a chunk.

You poor little girl...I'm sure the crews of both airplanes were SOLELY responsible for the cancellations. No doubt, they have total control of cancellation factors such as weather, maintenance, etc. And AWAC has never had a cancellation before, right? Suuuuuuuuure.

Yet another (amongst a long list) of reasons I decided to get out of the regional, and airline, industry was commuting. I can't recall the number of times my flight to/from work was cancelled or significantly delayed. But, you know what, that's just part of life being a commuter. It happens...you accept that as a commuter, and plan ahead accordingly. If you don't, you end up crying like a little kid (such as what you're doing)...and making yourself look like a complete and total idiot (which, apparently, you are). Although, something tells me this was just a lame attempt at starting a thread bashing Mesa and Hojets. Do you feel better now? Do you?

Pathetic. With immature, childish losers such as you, I have no doubt as to why the regional industry is heading down the tubes.

Hope you ended up getting home before your Mommy started to worry.

I'm not intending to talk crap, infact I apologise if I've upset anyone. I just feel that as of right now I make too little for this job as it is and our contract is one of the best out there in terms of pay and QOL rules.

My company is about to posibly loose some airplanes, if that happens (and we furlough around 700 guys) I will become a very junior F/O.

If we loose that flying it will most likley go to a company that has a worse contract and therefore a cheeper block hour cost. Personally, I think that because people are willing to work for these undercutting airlines for less QOL and less compensation it will impact comapnies such as mine.

I know there is no way to reverse what is happening now but I think that if people never PFT'ed and never worked for less than 30 dollars an hour of 2nd year pay this wouldn't have happened.

Somewhere along the line someone agreed to pay for training and to fly for too little money because it "would get them a job."
