Questions for those who travel out of ATL, I was trying to get to PVD out of ATL on DAL and had listed for the 737 on a Sun morning and arrived early. Early enough to try and board the early ASA flight on the RJ. When I arrived at the gate two of the rudest ATL gate agents I have EVER encountered told me I could not get on because of a weight issue. Okay, I could buy that but she was still asking people if they were flying to PVD to board. So here is my question, if a passenger did not show, could I not have taken their place? If it were a true weight issue why keep asking if there are any more passengers to board? I had no problem getting on with the DAL 737, thanks DAL! But the gate agents kept me counting my blessings I do not travel out of ATL often.
Is this what ATL is like every time when trying to fly ASA nowadays? Is it ATL work force? Or did I just happen to encounter the two biggest witches (with a capitol B) by luck?
