It only makes sense that the public pay for the "used to be complimentary" items. The public has been spoiled to death as far as ticket prices go.....It's about time they pay what they should be paying to travel.

Fearless, I buy a seat to go from point a to b. Pissed off flight attendants I don't give a crap about. Fake smiling and trying to be my pal is something I can't stand and SWA is an expert at that. Just get my arse home after 8 days on the road.

I think at midnight (well, 0001) of the day of your trip you can go to southwest.com and print out your boarding pass, getting you an A.

Too bad that their nearest destination to my house is a 6 hour drive...I have always been treated well jumpseating on SWA-something that can not be said of my ex codeshare partner, moved toward the fromt of the line in fact, and if you are going to pay $8 for a sandwich on AA why not just eat during your connection time?

SWA is very good at what they do. move people from point a to point b. That is the bottom line, and that is why they are doing well even in this market. Better a FA that knows that she will have a job tomorrow and presents a smile than a surly biatch that has taken multiple pay cuts and doesn't even remember what customer service is!
