LBB

Don't forget about the wind. Gets pretty gusty as it blows across the flatlands around LBB. WSW 35G45+ are not uncommon...even during the nighttime! Everything else is right on, especially the female scenery. Sometimes there can be quite a bit of military training going on at LBB, lots of trainers and KC-135's in the pattern. Most of my trips to the Metroplex go to FTW or DAL, so I can't really speak for going into DFW. The dryline thuderstorms start in the spring and usually stay through summer and fire up thunderstorms pretty quick. During the summer, there can also be alot of cropdusters around LBB. Life in LBB is very laid back. Roughly 250,000 population and growing. Many new retail stores and restaurants are either opening or planning to within the year. Economy is pretty stable, large sectors are the medical industry, agriculture, and oil. Hope this helps!
