Does anyone know if it requires any special training other than your standard rvsm recurent?

On the NBAA boards I've heard you need a chinese navigator onboard for certain legs any validity to this?

Make sure that you check the conversion tables for chinese RVSM. They are a little different than the russian tables and your altittude alerter. The charts have the convertions tables as well as important information about calling ''at least 10 minutes prior crossing their FIR'' and other stuff like that.

I found the conversion chart through that link. Good info. Its a FA50EX. It does have the Meter/FT button to convert alt. But Im being told to fly in feet w/ conversion chart.

We are going Shanghai, Hong Kong Singapore and New Delhi (Tech stop), Moscow. We have to fly around Afganastan coming back to Moscow.

I look forward to the trip.

Doing Shanghai in April...great info....I haven't done China before.....I am sure I (we) will screw something up....hope we can laugh at it later.
