A while ago, there was a thread that covered the numerous short lived start-up airlines that have come and gone over the years.

Some of the companies that made the dubious list were airlines such as Legend, Air 21, Access Air, Eastwind, Pro Air, and Air South.

Is there anyone out there who actually flew for these airlines? What was it like? There must be some worthy anecodtes out there somewhere...

Thanks.

I am sure you will hear the same story; great crews, fast upgrades, fun overnights and bad management.

Tell you what, go to Virgin America or Skybus and get back to us in a few years.

A buddy of mine flew for Legend. One day he got a call from his mother: "I heard on the news that Legend went out of business, do you still have a job"? He called ops and was told "uh, yeah, you don't need to show up anymore". Nice.
