The creator of the website was on CNN showing her products and ideas during a sit down interview.

She was stranded in KAUS for eight hours on an AMR flight.

Yawn. Just another soccer mom looking for a cause.

They don't want to face the real problem, That service costs money. Just like when they bought toys from China that were painted with lead because they didn't want to pay the cost of toys made in the US.

Now they get all pissy when they get stuck on their $79 ticket.

For every two bit, wannabee, dime store airline critic, let me spell it out for you:

Airplanes cost money

Spare airplanes cost money

Spare parts cost money

Spare crews cost money

Spare gates cost money

Guess what else? CONCRETE costs money, yes, the type that airplanes land on...the ones that YOU don't want in your backyard.

All of this costs money...money that you and your flip-flop wearing fellow passengers decided that you don't want to pay.

So tough sh!t, cry me a river, and next time bring a book.

Rant over...

If travelers think that all of these protections won't change their ticket price, they have a nice suprise coming. Any additional costs, plus a built in profit margin are going to be paid for by the customer. I bet you could buy a travelers insurance policy from a third party for less than the what the airlines would charge them.
