This is for the Flt Opt guys.
Who would like a TA to vote on that would allow the company to pick and choose the innocents to come back from the 70 RIFs?
How about all of them only or none of them?
Who believes some of the 70 should never come back?
I've learned in the past to never say never.

What have you been smoking? There will be no TA until the 70 are back. There shouldn't even be negotiations on anything else until the 70 are back. The day seniority means nothing, ALL of the pilots in the entire industry are in trouble!

And there you have it. Well said

Honestly,
Those guys and girls did nothing to get fired. The reason was lame--lack of productivity. When mgt has told union officials there was nothing a pilot could do to change his/her productivity level during the ole CGF arrivals.
While you may not like them all-they all deserve the job back. KR has already started to do the right thing. I hope he keeps on track and brings them all back as the company needs pilots then we can get back to finishing the details of the contract.

Your option to vote on allowing th company to pick and choose who comes back.. Nope-the company has already shown that they are not responsible enough for that priviledge.

Now enough about this foolishness- lets get back to whats important. Getting the wrong doings -righted and moving fwd with a contract.

Well put Galaxy. Maybe some of the 70 did deserve it, I don't know. I DO know that most did NOT deserve it. When we have a contract in place there will be a procedure for dealing with bad apples.

Pick and choose

This company has not shown the integrity to make such decisions! Make a deal with the devil to cut your brothers out of the herd. You can't be serious?? Although the company will not admit it, we know why they cut the majority of the pilots. They did their utmost to be safe, legal pilots; they followed the company GOM, SOP's and the FAR's. Had they been guilty of doing anything but the right thing, FLOPS would have s***-canned them for cause.
These guys got you where you are today, within sight of the tunnel's end. To leave (1) soldier laying in the field is inconceivable. There can be no pride if it means you must sacrifice a Brother.

Thank you my friend...

Many Pilots have paid the price to get this Pilot Group to the point they are at today; many with their jobs.

And now a few Survivors, who can smell a big increase in compensation just around the corner, want to sell out the very Brothers who got them to this point by paying the ultimate price: Laying down their Jobs in the quest for a Fair Contract.

To leave even one of these Pilots behind, is an immoral act.

Of course, this kind of GREED attitude, of a Pilot simply thinking of himself and his own interest, is exactly the type of behavior Management hopes for.

It allows them to divide the group into individuals which they love to do, because as we have learned, individual Pilots acting alone have very little power.

It is only when we Stand as One that we can affect great change, just look at what the NetJets Pilots did.

And they did not leave a single Soldier on the Battle Field.

Wtf

Soldiers and Battlefields. You guys really lay the drama on thick. Considdering that the country is at war and people are dying because of it, I think this is a major weenie job to compare your self to real heroes. Get a life. Heros my ass. Many of the 70 were not even union guys or members in good standing.

The guys that were members in good standing and did nothing illegal for or against have my respect. The innocent ones have my respect.

The others. You know who I mean. Especially the ones that claim to be heroes and big supporters after the axe. Weasels.

Talked to an Options pilot the other day. He started talking about Ricci coming back, and that things should be changing for the better. I asked whether the 70 were coming back, and said that I hoped so. He said (and this is a quote), "I don't care. I've only got about 5 more years here, so it doesn't really matter." Nice attitude.

Yes, we have a few of these guys around. Hopefully, they join us. If they are any of the ones doing overtime while pilots have been fired they won't last five years after the contract gets voted in. It will just be too lonely for them on the road.

Actually 2nd segment, most (not all) of the 70 were union supporters and senior as well.

Most is 51%.

You know the ones that I'm talking about.
The No Respecters.

The problem is that this could be a deal breaker. If the deal is going to be blown over this, It kills me to have the No Respectors tip the scale on a no deal scenaro.

My other problem was that the CANPASS guys sank with out a ripple. They got the ol' "Sorry Guys, There's nothing we can do". In fact, They were the testing of the water for the big one. Now it's a big deal. Now the Teamsters are pissed. WTF? And, Now we might piss away a deal over some lamers.

You're attitude of dividing the group is just what Management wants.

Over 80% of those let go in the RIF were Dues Paying Union Members, many being Committee Chairman/Members. In otherwords, much of the volunteer force that got you to the End Game we are in now.

And you want to flush them? Remind me to never turn my back on you. I might feel something Sharp and Cold.

Immature flamers

i love how some of you self righteous people put a spin on a question and want to assume you know my personal position. I can also assume the person who says I'm dumb wasn't even pissin in his pants when I was tuning superhomers.
Here's my position as if it mattered.
Most of the 70 were innocent bystanders and collateral damage from mis-guided management. About 10% would have been fired from any corporate job for the antics they pulled, of that number 2 or 3 are a P.I.T.A. We are not fighting a war overseas here, this is becoming a civilwar being declared amongst ourselves fed by managements fud and we are the ones who can either stop it or allow it to continue. Any other analogy of leaving behind the wounded is bs.
Bring 'em back. we'll sort out the losers.

It doesn't matter if you are Orville or Wilbur, or Moses, for that matter, you're still dumb.

"Tuning superhomers??" Is that some sort of code for picking the underwear out of your butt or something??

You're dumb

IMAC, never once have I ever stated that these pilots shouldn't get their jobs back.

However...

When a union is on the property and it's nasty, this is standard issue and the entire pilot group should have known it could happen from the onset. Should have not been a surprise. These pilots are bargaining chips, I've said that since the beginning and I'm frankly surprised that there hasn't been more.

They got what they asked for...

So now we have you, Narrow Bridge and Second Segment all joining this board late in the game and being surreptitiously disruptive.
What's your agenda? Why are you against a Collective Bargaining Agreement?

Hey Hey, Don't gift wrap me with anyone else. Disruptive? Listen Judge Judy, I've been around here for a long time and got my name changed because I wanted more anonymity.

I'm a member in good standing. Paid up. I walked the line and never did ovetime. Just read the new Negotiating report. Did you? I just don't like lamers or cling ons. You might be one of those.

The guy with the superhomers, Dude 35 years ago when I started superhomers were a foggy memory for only a few. Are you on life support?

The 2 or 3 you claim to be bad apples are but mere angels compared to the 2 or 3 that come to my mind I would like to see gone for the actions they have done. Lets see---How about Mr Engine Plugs? or Mr Don't touch my Bag! or Mr it doesn't look broken to me. Broke is Broke--deal with it. Oh the list could go on and on. They are still on the payroll putting lives at risk and causing the most trouble as most pilots will take the chance of getting fired for calling in sick rather than fly with some of them.
I stand by the deal of bring them all back. Negotiate a contract. Then when the rules are in place for discliplinary measures that will sort ou the rotting fruit.
If you were tuning Narco's when we all were young you really should retire. Dang-thats some old stuff-I guess Wilbur gve you your PPL too? Just joking--

Just keep walking the line then..We will all be there soon enough.

The superhomers made me laugh too! A 1950 Bonanza was the bomb with a Narco.

How will trading an old anonymous name for a new anonymous name give you more anonymity?? Quite the secret squirrel there SS.

Just read the new Negotiating report.

Wow!!! congratulations. You're a true supporter of the cause.

I just don't like lamers or cling ons.

What exactly do you mean?? Do you think all of those who were fired deserved it?
It appears your agenda is to spread FUD and make it seem as though trying to get the RIF pilots returned to FLOPS is going to spoil the progress of the contract.

If the overall solidarity of our pilots were as lame as yours we'd never make any progress. Fortunately our leadership and the majority of our membership believe in unity and solidarity and will fight for what is right and fair for everyone.

If the 70+ are not returned soon! It will not matter whether there is a contract or not. I here the IBT has some interesting information for any future legal proceedings if it becomes necessary. I recommend complete solidarity getting the fired pilots returned if we want to keep our own jobs.

Who would like a TA to vote on that would allow the company to pick and choose the innocents to come back from the 70 RIFs?

That would be interesting. If the company agreed to that, they would be admitting that:

1. Pilots had been targeted for wrongful termination.

2. Innocents were included to make it look legitimate.

I don't think the company is that stupid. On second thought, maybe they are.

And your screen names suggests where you must love to take it

Hmmm.. Ben Dover FLOPS means that I love to take it. Just how do you get that from Ben Dover FLOPS? Now, if my screen name were something like I. M. Bendinover or Ben Ding Meover or I. M. Bentover or Fracjack, then I would understand your conclusion.

You're dumb

For everyone out there that would agree to a contract without the RIF pilots back at work need to think about one thing? What if I am next! Would you want us to forget about you also? Do you believe that it can never happen to you? Well, let me tell you, it can happen to you.

Furthermore, bringing back some of the 70 and not all, will never fly. The 70 that were fired will never agree to it, they are men of integrity, something a lot of you guys lack. Why don't all of you grow a set and stick up for yourselves and your fellow pilots. I am getting to the point where I am ashamed to be associated with many of you.
