Ran into 2 flops pilots wearing 1108 lanyards and pins that were on Day 10. Called to check with dispatch and confirmed the OVERTIME! We have some real snakes in the grass. Watch out!

That is very sad. We are struggling to put food on the table and guys are doing OT. That really pisses me off! Doing OT with guys on the street is just as bad as being a scab. Those names should be published.

Really? What exactly is wrong with that?
Plus, you called dispatch to check on someone else's OT? Mind your business, fella.

WOW Skanza, you really are scum! Would you like to send some of us furloughed pilots some of that overtime money your making? It would really help putting food on the table for my kids. I can't believe pilots at Options are doing OT while we have furloughed pilots looking for work anywhere and with management drawing out the contract.

1108 hypocrites. Keep collecting them dues.
Please send in coupons with your payments and we will put you on the list of MIGS. If you act now we will not publish your name and keep it our dirty little secret and send you our new bling enhanced lanyards and our latest STRONG UNION stickers. Act now before the rules change.

The pilots doing the OT are the only hypocrites.

If you think the 1108 is condoning this, you're simply a fool... but most of us already knew that. That hypothetical senario is so ridiculous, there isn't even a point is arguing it... pure FUD, yet again.

To everyone else, yeah, I know he's just a troll, but I just can't help myself some times. Engaging him isn't even sport anymore. Lately it's more like shooting at fish in a barrel. Idiots like this frustrate the he11 out of me!!!

Sadly, I've heard that this is happening at OTHER fractionals that have pilots on furlough.

While you can't help it if the company forces you into overtime by getting you home late or keeping you out against your will an extra day, to volunteer for it while your fellow pilots are on the street is beneath contempt. I hope that those who are lining up to get overtime think about the kids and families of their fellow pilots who are struggling to pay the mortgage or put food on the table. To the Captains who were displaced back to the right seat due to the furloughs, those Captains picking up overtime now are doing you no favors either.

There are a very few here- like the jackass who posted earlier- who will try and justify it. You can't.

Yep, I very much doubt that it's only happening at Options. "They" have to fund that vacation home, boat, three ex-wives, sex change, etc. somehow.

Seems to be several guys on our union board at NJA that are justifying voluntarily picking up extended days as well. They seem to think it's ok since it's in our contract and they claim it will help the company survive in tough financial times. They also like to continuously mention how they should be able to pick up extended days since they suffered so much before the 2005 CBA, so now it's time to make up for "lost wages."

As a 495er, I think this is about as low as anyone could get with guys on the street. So much for bonding together in tough times, like a "union" member should.
