Okay guys lets get this back on track. I did nearly 8 years at flops. When i left we had about 900 guys and I was in the double digits on the list.

As an outsider with first hand knowledge of the inside I offer my 2 cents:

All of you need to be prepared to burn the place to the ground. Absolutely Absolutely do not make 1 compromise on any safety issue whatsoever.

Steadfast safety and professionalism could save your life or that of your fellow pilot.

Trust me guys there are many many jobs out there. Allowing yourself to be bullied with the the thought that things will get better is BS. Allowing yourself to be bullied because you are scared for your job is worse.

If you get fired for an unjust cause you file your lawsuits and find a new job. Starting over at a real company is better then what flops has become.

The strongest will survive and you guys are some of the most professional and competent pilots out there. Driving flops into the ground will be the final nail in the coffin for scheeringa who already has a horrible reputation in the airline industry but I can assure you that each and every one of you 5 years out will have readjusted to your new positions just fine.

I also spent a great deal of time at FLOPS (7 years) and moved on. It has only been recent that when I see a FLOPS pilot around they just now have the "Unity" that was hard to come by when I left. I love seeing all the FLOPS planes sitting on ramps waiting for MX to show up. Safety, Service and what was it? Bob ,Mike and Sanjay you went too far this time and the front line soldiers of FLOPS are ready to help you close the doors early. I don't think there is any hope of survival as they know it. At least they have their contract to fall back on. I guess you can add FLOPS to your resumes as another decent company destroyed by your mgt styles. I feel that even if they came out with a contract tomorrow that was the new industry leading contract the damage done to the pilots will be long remembered and not one inch of leeway would be given.
There are many great jobs out there but some of the guys on the road will not leave till the upper mgt is gone or the chains are put on the front doors in CGF.
I also hear that CGF has the highest paid mailroom clerks in the country--What a joke! I can't wait for the firesale-I want to get some of the old ties.
This holiday season will prove to be a VERY VERY expensive mistake for FLOPS mgt.
Thanks for the great laugh at NBAA guys- you should have heard the comments of the grim reaper..I wish it would have have that gappy toothed face of Sh!tfinger on it.

I've never flown 121 and the 1108 is the first union I have ever joined. But I know damn well that pilots do not forget! I am amazed everytime I see a pilot carrying his 'scab' list. One way or another, it will be with you FOREVER!!

Informants and Rats

Guys, there are informants and rats all around us. I was in CGF 2 weeks ago, sitting in the PM/PSM area and a pilot cam in and was talking to one of our PSM about what he heard form pilots at an FBO. He was naming names and reporting on what these pilots were saying. The worse part was he was wearing a pin. I didn't get his name otherwise it would be here.

Bottom line be careful what you say and to who. If you don't know a pilot don't assume he is one of ours because he wares a pin. A rat or informant that is a known management suck a$$ is one thing, its another when that rat masquerades as one of us. I've seen lots said about putting out list for this and that mostly about membership and dues. I'd like to see these low life rats listed everywhere so we all knew who they are.:smash:

You know whereof you speak!

I live in an aviation community. Two scabs are lot owners. It doesn't matter what these two individuals do, or say. No one is overtly rude to them, but everyone knows their background. No one would trust them out of their sight.

Yes, the choices we make in life do matter. Choosing to scab will last a life time. If you can't see why scabbing is immoral, at least fear the life-time label. It will follow like a shadow.

Didn't know that about LUV. That sucks man. The best advice I can give to avoid screming kids is to go towards the back of the plane. I would guess that the parents are not going to want to lug car seats, kids, and diaper bags all the way to the back.
