I think some misdemeanors as well. I think you can lose authorization even if you are not convicted.

The real kicker for some guys is that there doesn't seem to be any statute of limitations. If you were stupid 20 years ago - no CANPASS for you!

Exactly.....

Flew for the regionals a few years back, once in Halifax they wouldn't let the F/A in because she bounced a check 3 years prior. They held her there, and put her on the next flight back to the US. The Canadians don't F**** around with that...
 
It was officially announced today. One more obstacle to a CBA removed. Congrats to the MEC for a job well done!... I hope this bodes well for the pilots who were "Riffed"


Me, too! It looks like there's light at the end of the tunnel. It just goes to show what solidarity in the face of intimidation can accomplish. When you stand up to a bully they usually back down eventually and you earn respect for standing up for yourself--grudgingly from the bully and admiringly from all fair-minded spectators. Kudos to all of you! :) NJW
