I interviewed about three weeks ago at FLT OPS but have not heard anything, good or bad. Any idea how long it takes to get the word?

I understand the Nov and Dec classes are on hold until after the holidays, could they be waiting to let us know until the dates are confirmed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you get hired please do yourself and every other pilot a favor by sending in your card. If you plan on being at options for a while it would be to your benefit.

I know there are a lot of bad jobs out there and Options looks really good, but it can be a lot better for you in terms of pay and benefits if you send in the Union Card.

Don't be worried. You will get a response one way or the other. Like you said, this is peak travel for all of the fractionals and hiring will most likely take place after the Christmas holiday.

Thanks for the input. I worked at a very good place in many repects. With 1.5 years of reserve, a two leg commute and $300 plus per month between crash pad, food, etc. its time for a change.

Well, just so you know what your getting yourself into and your eyes are open. The union drive is in full force, pilots are PO'd at management, and the overall general moral is in the crapper. There are a few "happy go lucky, everything is great" pilots here, but they're few and far between any more. And when you get to indoc, don't believe everything they tell you. I've spoken with a new hire recently about their indoc experience, and nearly busted my gut listening to the line of "male cow feces" the company is putting their way.
Good luck if you do choose to come here. Perhaps we'll have a few on the road someday and we can compare notes.
