Hi Y'all,

Somebody I know is looking for a 141 SEVIS approved flightschool that has a Rockwell Commander 112/114.
Person in question is 6'6'' 270lbs and doesn't fit in anything else.
He owns a 114 over in "Europa-land" and would like to do his Instrumnet rating in one if we can find one.
Prefereably S/SE US (weatherwise).

Thanks

I used to teach in a 112A in FL, but I heard the school sold it a few years ago and replaced it with an Arrow I think. I never saw another one used as a school plane the few years I flew that one. Sorry I'm not much help. I did love that thing though...but the 112A sure did like to eat up runway.

Try Tucson Aeroservice out of Marana AZ. They had the 112 back in the late 90s, I'm not sure if they still have it though. Good luck.

Negatory Red leader.... Tucson Aeroservice uses a 182RG now.
Thanks for the tip though, guess the answer is pretty much ...no
