Yes, that's right. I have posted 3000 times. What a great milestone. And, I am still flying and I actually have a wife and a life! I still workout everyday when I am at home, and still ride the bike with the wife when it isn't raining.

I would like to acknowledge a few of my friends here at Flight info:

To the ASA bunch: Fins, Sleepy (now off to corporate flying), Wil, xremflyer,
atr-drvr, rjcap---thank you again for helping our furloughs.

To the Comair bunch: Surplus1, medflyer, inclusivescope, comrcap, and skddrvr:
Too bad your company didn't help our furloughs, but maybe a future staple will mend our differences..

To the Airtran bunch: Ty Webb, FLB717, FL717---I can't wait until you guys get more gates at ATL....

To the Jetblue CREW: Jetblue320, Dizel8, jbucapt, dredline---I know it wasn't your fault about the new pay rates.....even if they were imposed on you from your dictator leader that gives you blue koolaid...

And to the only airline analyst on this board that really doesn't know a thing about how to fly a plane, but knows everything about this industry and how employees really should be treated and paid----Lowecur.---Thank you for your entertaining comments and prophecies. I am sure you will be rich off of all of that EMB stock someday.....

Thank you everyone---and here's to ANOTHER 3000 posts---maybe this year alone!!! I love you all!

Bye Bye--General Lee

Congrats. General, but once again I have to correct you. I am ASA, not CMR. Just curious why you thought I was CMR? Not that I mind, however as they too are a fine group of pilots.

Inclusivescope
-standing by to correct the next 3000 posts:>)

3000 posts! All of them wrong! LOL! Congrats. Shows that those without a life have a place to go. Where everyone knows your name, sort of.

Inclusivescope,

Sorry. I don't know why I thought that? Probably because Comair seems to have all of the militants.....

I also forgot someone at ASA--Tim47Sip--sorry.

Thank you all!

Bye Bye--General Lee

Im not too sure i would be bragging about that Gen Lee. I mean you be here for two years at 3000 posts. That boils down to 4 posts per day. I dont know what the average time per day on a message board draws 4 posts per day, everyday, over a 2 yr period, but wow! Its unfortunate that most of the posts i have read from you are counter-productive. If they were all a "helping-hand", i would applaud your accomplishment. If you can call it that. But hey, everyone needs to feel a sense of accomplishment. So heres to you! Attaboy! cheers! How about trying for 10 posts per day for the next two years. Then you'll feel really good.

General,

You are what keeps flightinfo going. There is no way I would spend as much time as I do on here if it weren't for your posts. Everytime somone posts something contraversial(sp) I can't wait to get on to see your response. Here is to another 3000 posts and the return of all 1000+ furloughs.

WOW the General has made the Hall of Fame 3000 hit club. Congrats but thats alot of time to get 3000 posts. If you take 3000 x 10 minutes average post time, thats 30,000 mins, divided by 60 thats 500 hours and divided by 24 thats nearly 21 days of posting time. Thats more time then I get for vacation a year!!!

If I learned one important thing from reading General Lee's posts, it's 'message board ediquette'. Thank you GL for consistently being a professional representative of this forum.

Well, thank you again everyone and thanks for being so spirited--even those RJDC guys and guys who hate scope. Overall I enjoy all aspects of aviation--and love this profession. As far as the number of posts I do---I am usually gone 4 days a week (3 or 4 day trips)---so in reality---on the days I am here (ATL)--I post 10-15 posts per day. (if not per hour) Yeah, that is a tad bit weird---but I enjoy the banter and it beats yelling at my wife (who I love dearly). And, I swear I do other things on my days off as well---like weight lifting and bike riding.....

Bye Bye--General Lee

PS--And yes, I did contribute money and plan to again to flightinfo....

Yes, you already said that in the first post. It almost sounds like you're trying to sell it to yourself at this point.

There you go again General with the outright lies. RJDC guys don't "hate scope". We simply don't like you bending us over and shoving your version of scope up our A$$. And then without even a kiss, you tell us it is for our own good. The average RJDC supporter is well aware of how important job security is. Somehow I don't think Malone is concerned about ASA and CMR job security however.

Keep it up, General. There's always good information in your posts. Thanks for your past, present and future support of the ASA crowd.

Sorry Gen have to say aerobics with those little plastic hand weights can't be classified as weight lifting-even if you are wearing leg warmers. :-)

General,

Congrats on having Keyboard hand. If Delta needs money for restructuring I can call Joe and I'm sure we could buy a few gates from you, say DFW or in ATL the rest of C or the B gates.

I think we should award the good General the "Wilt Chamberlin Flightinfo Posting Award".

I second that motion, all in favor!
