FYI,

Unless you operate at a company that has a specific provision to fly with a copy of your certificates & medical(not the originals) in it's ops specs, it is illegal to do so. The only acceptable replacements are temporary certificates. With out the originals or newly issued temporary certificates, you are grounded.

EggsACtly! You guys that carry them all in the flight bag, what happens when you leave the hotel for a meal etc? Carry along that flight bag? Or do you leave it in the hotel, the airplane?! Not a chance for me! (apparently I have a hard enough time with my wallet!)
