United Flight Systems based at DWH is the best in the State; possibly the Country. This is assuming they don’t go floating away Friday.:)

United Flight Systems

I can second what Texan Aviator said about United Flight Systems at Hooks Airport (DWH) just northwest of Houston. It's a great school that has been around for at least 12 years, I got my PPL there back in '94 and went back to finish up my multi-commercial/instrument using my VA benefits. Great family runs the place, couldn't recommend more.

Fletcher aviation out of Houston Hobby, been quite awhile so can't comment on the current rates. They did have many AA5A's, V35, 172, Cougar's, a Decath, and others.

Without question United Flight at DWH. Great people, top notch facilities, great a/c, and a great atmosphere.

Rumor has it Fletcher sold the FBO and School......

Interesting, news to hear.. I would have thought ole Maybelle and Larry wouldn't sell until they were seven feet under although they were probably getting close if not already there.:D Who bought the flight school?.

I don't know who bought the flight school, but rumor has it they are moving it out of Hobby, and moving it to a smaller airport; mayber Houston Southwest...
