Are they really hiring?

This Just In

I just heard that we hired a bunch of folks just last week I heard the number 40 used. I talk with the pilot recruiter a few weeks ago and he told me they were looking at running 2 indoc classes of 20 a class, a month.

I heard a rumor that so far this year we have added around 30 airplanes.

The only thing I know for sure is I'm flying my rear off & we are short pilots.

Good Luck!

I'll second what Joe said. I talked to the recruiter the beginning of August and he said he'll be hiring 55 this month, and 20 per month (maybe he said 20 per class?) for the indefinite future. Jets are coming online and things are starting to move again. We are short staffed, we have airplanes sitting uncrewed and we need more people. I think the higher-ups are realizing this and trying to staff us sufficiently. Good news for everyone, more pilots, more jets, quicker upgrades, etc. Sounds good to me....

I can testify to that.

Having been hired to start on the 25th. Eric in HR told me in the interview that they will be be running two indoc classes a month with 10 per class for the foreseeable future.
