I am looking at a PDA to purchase and I heard the flight crew log or similiar program can be downloaded to the PDA. The salesperson told me I had to find out what the operationg systeem for the program was?? So I came here looking for answers. Thanks.

This might be what you are looking for.

www.airlinelogbook.net

I know several people who use it and are very satisfied.

However be advised, that the last I knew it was only available for the Palm OS.

I know many people tha use "Airline Logbook" but I found it had more minutia then I would ever use and you have to buy a seperate PC logbook ("Logbook Pro") or make your own Excel program to keep track of your time away from your PDA. I decided to go with Captain's Keeper . What I like about it is that it was designed with a PC logbook included so the two programs work seemlessly. What's more, the PC logbook is included with the PDA software.

Currently using the "Beta" version of Airline Logbook for Pocket PC. I have used this program since it was started with my old Palm. I recommend buying the Airline Logbook-Logbook Pro Combo. They have a link for the 2 that will update your Logbook everytime you perform a hotsync.
