Flight academies & non hiring regionals

The point is, for two or three times the cost, these schools don't put you any closer to a job than Bob and Faye's Flight shack at the local grass strip. But kids who think they'd look swell in an airline uniform can convince their parents to drop 60K on the flight academy with an American Eagle CRJ-700 in the ad that promises an airline job in six months and 500 hours. These academies are ruthless.
