I'm probably older than you and I'm trying to help the next generation not buy the slop you're trying to sell...unions aren't the answer and neither is bad mgmt. The world has changed and pilot have to adjust...
 
...and more ...I was talking over drinks and girls the other night to a guy who retired from the US post office and he agreed we didn't need his former company any more. But he kept asking how are we going to take care of all the employees...I said they should go apply at FedEx or UPS and try to make an honest living...

BTW...has anybody ever met a postal worker or IRS employee in a social setting, other than me?

...unions aren't the answer and neither is bad mgmt. Unfortunately, if you have the latter, you must have the former to counteract. I am hoping to avoid both for the next 15-17 years.:beer:
 
What did Fred do for Flexjet, really? Remember all the grandiose fleet plans and all the TV spots on how Flexjet flying was up over 100%? How could anyone believe ANYTHING this corporate lackey had to say? He did NOT deliver anything that was planned other than layoffs. You can't spin his departure as anything but positive for the employees. Maybe he'll pop up as ceo of playgirl magazine where he will be revered.

You don't need to meet him to figure out the elevator never let the parking garage level! The guy probably still believe's in SANTA CLAUSE!

Why would Flexjet be singled out here as the target of doom and gloom? Surely all the fractionals would be affected by this 'quote'. What is your source, please?
 
I heard Ferris passed out at 31 flavors last night. Maybe I should start trolling FBOs with a "Save Flexjet" can...

From a Congregational Research Service Report September 14, 2012:

However, the top tax rate reductions appear to be associated with the increasing concentration of income at the top of the income distribution. The share of income accruing to the top 0.1% of U.S. families increased from 4.2% in 1945 to 12.3% by 2007 before falling to 9.2% due to the 2007-2009 recession. The evidence does not suggest necessarily a relationship between tax policy with regard to the top tax rates and the size of the economic pie, but there may be a relationship to how the economic pie is sliced."

Like I'm going to give a name on here. I thought it was a little obvious but, the "L" word is what was mentioned. The sustainability of un-crewed aircraft is bound to catch up to the drain and I'm betting the drain is REAL close. Airplanes do not make money sitting somewhere for weeks on end, it's simple math. On a side note, tree boy spotted amongst smarter chimps in redwood forest.
