Flexjet would be a lot more attractive to many pilots if it had a union (and the protections afforded unionized pilots) and NJA's contract and schedule. I love the Flexjet fleet - you can't beat that CL300!!!!!!! I just wish it had NJA's contract and schedule - but that's just me.

I know this board is mostly union folks but not trying to make anyone mad but I really enjoy working at FlexJet. I think it is a better company due to the fact we do not have an union. I have worked at union airlines in the past and to be quite honest this is by far the best airline job I have had. Granted I have been around in the regional world but the union - management relationship was just awful. I am very happy working at FlexJet, even some of the ex Delta guys like it here. The flying is challenging it is not ATL-DTW, etc. all day long. We go somewhere different everyday. I do work a little harder getting the plane ready but to me I think FlexJets is a pretty good place to work.

Like I used to tell new folks at regional airline new hire classes, there are two jobs at this company. One if you are a commuter and the other if you live in base. I live in domicile and it really makes all the difference in the world.

Great job I would recommend FlexJet to anyone.

So when you start as an new FO, what amount of days are you put on? 214/202/195. I noticed the pay is based upon that. What is the average annual first year salary with per diem. Just trying to get it staight. Thanks

You have got to love a moving target.
While you are at it you might as well ask how you get to upgrade or change fleets. Or what the rest rules are for your company.
Oh wait, maybe I am thinking about CS.

Continue.

Use 202 and you'll be close.

Don't count per diem as income but last year I did $8500.00 worth of per diem

Its getting deep here!

At first I thought $8500 was way too high, but if you figure $1.75/hour, it works out to roughly 203 24 hour days of perdiem.

Try it at a 1.59, we've been on a 1.75 since Feb. Which works out to 222 days of 24 hrs. You never get 24 hrs on your first an last day. So it is still deep in here. Though it can be done.
