Here ya go guys. I just interviewed this week and was offered a job.

The interview was very laid back. I was flown in the night before to start the interview at 8am. We stayed at the Idearq hotel at the DFW and the interview was at the CAE Training Center close by.

The interview started with a brief introduction on the company as well as some discussion of the good stuff and the bad stuff at NetJets. They did mention that turnover was at about 10-15%.

The oral was not technical and was VERY easy and laid back. No aviation questions just a few about my resume, checkrides, driving record, etc. I did sign a sheet that covers some of the job duties such as empying lavs on occasions and loading baggage. I was told that Upgrades were about 2 years but as low as 1year and 8months. They are hiring 70 more pilots through the end of the year.

The simulator was easy and we used the Lear 31A. I was paired with another interviewer. We departed DAL 13L and got some vectors back to the ILS all raw data. We then landed (or attempted to) and did a V1 cut on the next takeoff. Thats it. About 25 minutes per pilot.

I was contacted the next day and offered a job. Most likely the Lear 45.

Goodluck guys!

NetJets???

I'm certain he meant Flexjet...They went over the pro's and con's of the fractional type flying with me as well and no mention of any other company was made.

So you are saying that they are not bashing NetJets at the FlexJet interview?

Correct.

They did go over all aspects of the job good and bad that you can expect. Focusing on the negative so there are no suprises when you start.

Even then it wasn't anything you wouldn't expect. Cleaning/prepping aircraft etc.... etc...

When I went through the interview process, and I have heard many others experience this as well. They actually try and talk you out of the job. They tell you all the negatives and try to make sure that you know exactly what you are getting yourself into. They say this way it cuts down on the number of people leaving within the first year due to them not knowing what they were getting themselves into.

They did the same to me back in April. They make you question whether or not you really do want to come here to work. I'm glad I made the jump though.

They told me I would only have to work every 3rd Tuesday.
