737 crew took off without flaps earlier this year.
Hum? What did they think the config warning was all about?

Thanks to SWA, the 737NG doesn't have a fancy voice warning like every other airplane built in the last few decades. They wanted it to be just like the classic 737s, so all you get is a beeping noise that is apparently relatively easy to overlook. That's what I've been told by our 737 drivers, anyway.
Teams win!
why are we so eager to trash our own pilot group? It's our typical AirTran culture.... trash each other, turn each other in, hope a fellow pilot gets canned...
At least the AirTran threads are starting to rival the ASA threads for entertainment value.
Don't know about the "thanks to SWA", maybe, maybe not. However, the beeping noise is loud and annoying. IMHO, not too hard to overlook. I for one, would want to take a second to figure out the reason for the warning. Especially, since it will sound for a true config. warning before the engines are spooled up to takeoff thrust.
Hmmm..... well, coach, in order for one team to win, then another team must lose . . . . so, you could also say,
"Teams Lose!"
Unless you are talking about soccer . . . but that ain't no real sport, anyhow . . . just something invented to sell minivans and silly-looking socks.
Just turn it on for the last few minutes??!!!
Soccer is not basket ball;you might as well not
turn it on at all.
I haven't seen any WNBA stars take their shirts off yet!
