Re-read that press release. I believe it states that CHQ will operate UP TO 69 aircraft starting in DEC 06. Then with options of UP TO 274 later. And CAL does want to reduce its RJ population. Prior to 9-11 they planned on having all RJ's out of EWR. We are already running into a gate space issue in EWR due to CAL's winglet equipped 752's. They can''t have two sitting next to one another so they are having to use our gates in C2 at times. Not saying you are totally wrong, but it is possible......
