In case you were curious, here is the final stats on recall offers at DAL. There were 1,060 furloughs:

* 540 accepted recall and went to training
* 28 accepted recall and went on a 3-year PLOA
* 21 accepted recall and went on a 5-year PLOA
* 189 accepted recall and are on MLOA
* 12 are on Med-Hold status
* 2 are deceased
* 262 bypassed
* 6 resigned

The numbers are interesting.

The 262 that bypassed, can they come back later?

yes. But.....there have to be new hire classes going on. If hiring stops, those on bypass cannot come back until it starts up again. So, you could find yourself SOL if you bypass planning to come back later and there are no new hire classes.

I believe there were 1,060 force majeure 1 furloughs. Force majeure 2 added nearly 300 more names to that list. So total furloughs topped 1,300. All have been offered recall.

Welcome back to all of them . . . . I hope it's the last furlough you will have to endure for the rest of your career.
