I know this is not really the place for it but...

The computer help desk is no help!!

I have been using xp home on two different computers for 2.5 years now and haven't had a problem, until now. I usually get the "expires in 10 days" message
and then I uninstall old and download new. Works fine, until now. It downloads fine and starts to connect and at the last second it tells me it cannot connect.
I've disable firewalls, checked connection settings,etc....nothing.
shaniqua at the comp helpless desk told me it's my ops system and will have to go out and buy xp pro. I know some people that ran right out and did so. NOT ME!!

Please help..Do you know of any other option that I might have? (i.e. patches, different download..)

Thank You in advance for any and all help that you may provide.

For the rest of you...sorry to use the forum for this and it will be my only post regarding this matter!

If you are familiar with the NPA website, there is a fix procedure for the problem. Go there. The dissident website also has it. PM me if you still can't find it, and I'll email it to you.

Buy a Mac.

Ditto!TC

(Written on a brand spankin' new iBook... :p Finally retired my 4 year old Powerbook G3. Nothing wrong with it, the company just bought me this one.)

I had the same thing and the normal published fix didn't work. Even upgrading to XP Pro didn't fix it. I had to uninstall Citrix, then run disk defragmenter to overwrite it, then reinstall it and it finally worked. Good luck.

Airtranians? Makes us sound like some Star Trek characters........

Yo TC!

"Just kidding about the SD3"???

You wouldn't be making fun of the sexiest airplane in that bevy of type ratings would ya'? ;)

No, I just have to believe I could make more money on the 767 than the SD. I'll let you know if I find someone who DOES pay more...
;) :D

The SD time at StatesWest was the most fun I've had in this business. :( TC

Forget about running it on a Mac. The Citrix version for the Mac won't work with the AirTran system. I called the help desk and was told they don't support Macs. If anyone has gotten it to work with Mac OSX, help would be appreciated.
