The Type rating costs $22K at Flight Safety. If you sign a 'Training Contract', I'm told it is not legal. However, if you sign a loan for training it is legal. If you are not used to flying jets and your concerned about safety, you should spend about 6 months / 100 hours learning to think at jet speeds before you go off on your own. A Type doesn't mean you know how to fly it in the real world.

Yep, if your speaking of the FBO there, just look at the latest venture they're going to try in Louisiana with 1900c's. Going to try an intrastate airline service and was boasting in the newspaper how they have 10,000 hour pilots all ready to get started.
