No Md-11. Weird, there was a big push last summer for Md-11 typed. Though no one I know except one hired. Seems odd no one going there and not me or any compadres with the type were hired.
Guess you need a good sponsor.

There have been about 30 MD11 F/O's hired since last June. All are in ANC.
 
As of 1 Jan

In 2011 FedEx hired into the following seats: (one or two changed seats after hiring)

ANC 11F - 39
HKG 30F - 9
CGN 57F - 12
MEM 27F - 31
MEM 27S - 60

First group for 2012 has

HKG 30F - 1
MEM 27S - 10

The Training Letter currently shows dates for: (slots thru April, but they tweek the letter often)

HKG 30F - 3
MEM 27S - 20

You know , earlier in the week I get a text from my sponsor who spoke to KD expecting to get a call any moment for indoc.....its Friday and no call.....so, I continue to enjoy my vacation and when that call does come, Im sure I'll forget all the waiting for the last 7months. Its all good.
 
How is seniority in class determined?
Are they looking for younger guys or will they hire a 50 yr old fart?
What/how is the app process, I checked Careers on FedEx.com and no positions shown.

1. Last 4 digits of your social, person with the lowest four is the most senior in the class.

2. Runs the full spectrum, from young RJ drivers to retired career Military folks.

3. Do a search on AirlinePilotCentral for that current information as it has changed.
