Haywood,
By the open season, do you mean Oct-early Mar when the window was closed? When did your sponsoree do his meet and greet in other words?...and when is his interview? Thanks for any info.....

Did my M&G the first week of Sep. with no call as of yet. My sponsor checked w/ an ACP atleast once a month. Should I start to worry? The ACP did say since I was furloughed "Legacy" and one of his last M&G's before the shutdown, it would take a little longer. Something about each ACP only submits so many furloughed guys per stack. Any advice on what to do next?

Tanner: Just be patient. It can take months.

Keep the faith and have your sponsor check in with the ACP every now and then.

With the meet and greets turned off for the 2 1/2 months or so, a lot of the ACPs had their stacks of applicants (already met and greeted) dwindled down to nothing. Those with 70 or so in January, still had quite a bit once the M&Gs turned back on in March...therefore, you may still be in that large stack. The ACPs with no stack in March are getting their most recent walk-ins (i.e. March 20th) to an interview as early as next week.

hope that makes sense...I'm confusing myself now

My sponsor talked to his ACP 2 weeks ago and was told that my folder has gone to the board and that it was out of their hands at this point. I just had know idea that there are folks getting the interview so quickly. Trying to be patient.

Thanks for the fast responses!

Instructordude,
I can get you an interview date even faster than "FedEx" but I'll need your amex number and expiration date in addition to your ssn.

The best part is, with your experience, enthusiasm, and industry knowlege they may even put you right on the W-900 (you'd skip right over all those W-700 guys). Then you could handle all that purple product all day long.

I don't have a credit card but my parents do give me a debit card that says VISA on it. Pretty cool you can't even tell it's not a credit card. Chicks dig it!

What's the W-900???

instructordude is TheGuat, Rhoid, GuppyKiller, E170GuppyKiller, TheGuppyKiller, TheMissingLink, FreightNazi, 410Dude, IHaveAPension, RJDC, LucyFurr, ABXpert, UPSer, etc...etc..

I don't get it??

Yeah, you were saying the same thing as "ABXpert" until you got that username booted. "instructordude" won't last long, either.

How long is it to upgrade into the GRUMMAN ROUTESTAR 5?

I wouldn't mind driving the W-700. Would that be an avenue into flight ops?? I would think if you drove that for a few years that would show loyalty and they would be impressed. What is the intro pay and what are the chances of getting it out of training? Also since I'll be in college will I be able to do it partime??
