O.k. the last one was getting a bid long. All good intel though, keep it up!

Just got a call today from MEM saying that they were running into issues having both an MD11 & 727 class start on the same day, so all the people assigned to the 727 on 7/31 have all been moved to 8/15.

It makes sense, the contract says everyone gets a seniority number based on SSN, then everybody bids on open positions based on your class seniority. So if they want Moe and Larry on the MD11, and Curly on the 727, but Curly has a high SSN and bids the MD11, it could screw things up.

So 727 classes now start on 8/15...

If you overlay the MOAB's training letter results over those class sizes you come up with the following vacancies per class...

Those training letters posted don't reflect that new change in the training plan, does it?

Yup. 8/15 indoc start date. No new hires in the 8/16 727 systems class.

Thanks for the speedy reply PN. I was hoping it was an April Fools joke (in July). It makes sense what they're doing...but, you would think they would've thought of that before-hand.

Funny though, when I interviewed Jan, they said I may be back in MEM in class as early as March...oh well, MAR-COOOOO!

.....do we know if there will be anymore MD-11 classess after 31 Jul or is that it for a while?

If not, it looks like straight FIFO as they drain the pool.

I would think that this class wouldn't even be run anymore. No one at FedEx is bidding into the 727 FE seat and the 8/16 class shows 0 F/O's and 16 F/E's. Do you mean that every systems class from that schedule has just been bumped back 2 weeks?
