Tradeoffs
You do need to seriously evaluate your choices.
FedEx offers a stable income, good growth potential, and the a potential quick upgrade in the next couple years. Cons are night flying and upcoming contract negotiations and associated stress.
TWA offers a tremedous amount of time off. Benefits, while lacking, allow you to explore your own initiative and see what you can develop. Schedules are extremely flexible...in fact...I think you can pretty much have any day off you need without even having to contact the CP or scheduling staff. You will also have very limited exposure to other crew members, so any interpersonal issues (as well as exposure to colds and other viruses...) will almost non-existant. While pay and benefits are limited, there are also ZERO deductions for union dues, health care insurance, FICA, etc etc.
