FEDEX jumpseat?

Whats the deal with jumpseating on FEDEX?? can do??? i work for a 121 regional with cass, if so does anyone know of the number to list, i found the schedule of their flights on th fedex mec website. but haven't found a way to list for the flights.

I just tried calling the number that I had for them, but got a, "The person at this extension is not available, please leave a message..." Not sure if they changed the number or not, but the number that I have is 866-357-5711.

Try 800-544-9040 or 901-224-5420. If you're CASS, you're good to go.

Not necessarily... all CASS airlines need specific Fedex approval- so just being CASS doesn't mean you are in. Bold carriers can ride on Fedex- see notes below.

I'm with one of the non-bold face carriers on the list, and I rode the jumpseat a month and a half ago. 866-357-5711 worked for me then. If you're a first time rider, you'll have to answer a lot of questions as they build a file on you.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The inbound crew led me to the jumpseat lounge in Memphis. The outbound crew, let me share their hotel van, and didn't mind when he took a mile detour to drop me off at my car.

Maybe UPS hasn't figured out that when you fly great distances over open water to a country where everyone speaks spanish you aren't in the United States anymore. More likely though, UPS classifies it as domestic so they don't have to pay their crews international override and per diem. Your welcome!

And people that were born in American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands are all US citizens too. Are you telling me those aren't international destinations? Puerto Rico is a US territory with commonwealth status. It's native born residents are US citizens but they cannot vote in presidential elections. Doesn't sound very "domestic" to me.
