I look at it as eating dinner with your buds, then skipping out on the check. . .
.
.
.

Nah, more like going out for dinner with your buds, they each have a dozen plus drinks, now want to try that great club ten miles down the road. Lets all jump into our cars and race down the road. I just decided to call a cab and call it a night.:(

That would be great if you would retire now. Unfortunately, you are going to hang around and enjoy the benifits of any hard won contract improvements.

However you want to rationalize it is up to you . . .

You're still sticking the rest of us with the tab . . . .

Don't let him kid you, folks. If they were to let him drive their car and choose the radio station, he'd be leading the pack. Since he can't have it his way, he picks up his marbles and pouts all the way home. Let's hope he doesn't have a flat tire or have car trouble and find himself stranded on the shoulder of the highway late at night.

Frankly, I'm surprised he even showed up for the party - - he vehemently opposed it from its inception. His departure comes as no surprise.

We now return you to the regularly scheduled "FedEx Jumpseat update" thread. :)

You'll get your FDX ID by the end of the first week of indoc and then you'll be cleared hot to jumpseat on FDX or carriers we have agreements with...they'll give "jumpseat academics" sometime in indoc too.....do's and don'ts etc. Good luck.
Thanks for the help. Haven't gotten the call yet, still waiting... It has been 6 weeks now since the interview.

Yeah, and you forgot to mention about that night when you woke up at 3 am and all your buds were standing around your bed with their bars of soap wrapped in a towel and... Oh, wait, wrong movie.

Thanks! I see you didn't hesitate to out-post me in my hour of hardship. :)

"Captain Tony" won't be necessary. "Your Majesty" will do just fine! ;)

TonyC,
.
.
Let me be the first one to say:
.
.
.
"That was one smooth landing, sir. . . "
.
.
.
"Good decision, I totally agree. . . ."
.
.
.
"Would you like the Tuna Sandwich, Captain?". . .
.
.
.
"Is dinner at five O'clock Memphis or Local time, sir??". . .
.
.
.
"Let me get the tip". . . .
.
.
.

.
.
.
I think that one is in the FOM. . . .
