Can anyone provide information on if Fedex is sending out applications and/or calling people for interviews yet?

FedEx does not send out apps. It is all done online when the app window is open (which it currently is). From what I have heard, we are interviewing.

Good luck.

Off the FedEx website:

Q: When will I hear whether or not I will be asked to interview?
A: We will evaluate your profile, and, if you are selected as a candidate for interview, more information will be sent to you, including an application. Please do not call the Recruitment Office to check on the status of your Profile Form. Our staff simply cannot handle the volume of calls.

Yes

Goflyme: Yes, FedEx is interviewing right now. If you are called in for an interview they will send you a packet of info that you need to fill out and return before the actual interview. It will include a paper application form to be partially filled out (a generic, FedEx employment app if I remember correctly, and you only fill out a portion of it) that is mainly to get you into the human resources department data base once you have started class. (I think)

What Goose was pointing out was that the way into the system is via the web-based app, and they won't send out an application per se unless they have already called you in for the interview.

The key is to keep updating the web-based app and have a sponsor walk your resume into the Chief Pilot's office if at all possible.

Best of luck.
