It's amazing that all you people get hard witht the thought of getting on at FedEx when they continue to tear up airplanes. They don't seem to have a very professional pilot group and their standards can't be that high with all the accidents they have had in the recent years. Must be all the college degreed, ex military they hire! Maybe they should try some pilots without a degree that have thousands of hours of turbine PIC in RJs. They would be a better match than the ex military types.

Truly amazing the false bravado that these geeks have hiding behind a keyboard.

Is it the position of the RJDC that only FDX pilots run off slippery runways?

Any truth to the rumor that the Pinnacle CRJ that ran off the runway in MKE last year was flown by non-FDX, non-military pilots?

Oh, now look who's the NTSB Librarian?

RJDC = idiot

Clearly, RJDC has an inferiority complex, three reasons why...

1) He is not college educated
2) He was not in the Military, he tried but failed the AFOQT (see number 1)
3) He can't work at FedEx (see number 1)

Dude you are an idiot plain and simple...

If you don't like how they operate, why would you want them to start the hiring of uneducated civilian rj losers? I don't know, they do call FedEx pilots cockroaches. Mainly because they can't be killed. I don't think you rj folks can claim the same.

Daaaaaayuuuummm Goose - Preach on !!!

FN FAL,

I think he was talking about the MKE crash, not the Jefferson one. I understand the confusion, it is getting harder to distinguish between PCL crashes these days.

In all seriousness, if an airline is plagued with a series of mishaps and incidents over a period of time it is more indicative of a deficiency in the airlines own training program and oversight than the individual pilots.

Thanks Tin, I understood that, I was just giving Occam a little ribbing.

Acutally I have no desire to get on with FedEx. I'm quite happy with my seniority and captain's seat at my current airline.

Did they miss the three wire?

common that's funny since nobody was hurt

ps- does the airbus take in acct TR's for landing distance like the later model 737's?
