just another tid-bit that solidifies the 737 rumor. My next door neighbor works in the computer/IT group for FEDEX and he said about 2 weeks ago their group was asked to write the weight and ballance program for the 737-500. He said they are almost done. I asked about other airplanes and he said that the 737 is the only one they have been asked to "run the numbers on"

What the 'ell is a 737-500? I know what 100 through 400 is, and 800-900....

And as for the pictures - never seen a rear view mirror in an airliner before... is that for when a 727 wants to pass? Hoooo-WAAAHHHH!

The 737-500 (originally known as the 737 Lite) combined the original fuselage of the -200, with the various improvements of the -300 and -400.
