FedEX Feeder dorks

As a MAC Pilot, I really don't think it's that simple. Life is way too complex and fluid to simply state that I work for:
A. FedEx
B. MAC
Believe me if someone approaches me and cares enough to ask what I do for a living, then I would be more than happy to explain the entire scope of my employment. Of course every situation and person is different so I use critical thinking to proceed.

I really don't care about any of that stuff, but when somebody addresses me, I'll respond in kind. Plus it helps keep the thread on top.
My hope is that the more feeder guys who have a chance to read it, the less they'll lie about being FedEX pilots. Eventually I'll get bored of responding, but not for a now; I'm having fun.
And remember:
If you tell people you're a FedEX pilot and you really fly for a feeder, you're a dork.

(I know, I know, the saying is usually the other way around but since no one really gives a deuce here other than you, its funny) I realize there is no reasoning with you so hopefully you will get bored with this soon and stop your goal of keeping this at the top of the board. And by the way, I dont know any FedEx feeder pilots but from your last post it sounds dangerously close to me that you are assuming all those guys/gals are liars just because one guy. Who are you to tell all these pilots what they can and cannot say or what they can do? Just like my opinion of what you are doing probably dosent mean crap to you, your opinion dosent mean squat to them. And for the record, I dont really see a problem with those who fly FedEx owned planes carrying FedEx labled boxes and envelopes wearing FedEx uniforms (my assumption here...not sure what they wear) telling people WHO ASK that they fly for FedEx. I think youre are placing too much emphasis on what the public "thinks" of FedEx pilots. I bet those DC10 and 727 FedEx piltos get sick of people asking them, once they find out they are FedEx pilots questions like "When are you going to get to fly passengers?" or "When are you going to be a commercial pilot?" Point is: People dont really care, other than you. But anyway, good luck in your quest to rid the world of those pesky lying Caravan pilots!

I tell people I sell insurance or used cars. This usually scares them off and they won't talk to you anymore. Never tell someone you are a pilot when riding in the back of an airliner. The annoying questions never stop and a nap is out of the question.

Ok guys, if you work for a FedEX feeder such as Empire Airlines, Mountain Air Cargo, etc., please stop lying to everybody you meet, telling them you fly for FedEX. You're not fooling anybody and it really makes you sound like a loser.
Just tell people who you really work for; take some pride in your job. Those really aren't bad companies. We all know that if you're 25 years old, drive a Hyundai, and fly right seat in an ATR that you don't fly for FedEX.
You might fool the occassional drunk college girl, but it really makes you guys look like idiots.

The same goes to you regional guys who claim you fly for United, etc. Just tell the truth.

Playboy, if you'll go and read the original post you'll see that Daytonaflyter is neither a FedEx pilot nor does he speak for the Fedex pilot group. Don't vent in my direction.
Personally, I don't care who a feeder pilot says he flies for, and all of them that I've met are stand-up guys. Also, I don't think claiming you fly for FedEx is "bragging." Heck, the other day my step-sister asked me if I ever wanted to fly for an airline, or if I was "satisfied to just fly cargo." YGBSM.

Yes, playboyfree, if you'll go back and read any of the other posts, you'll see that I'm not affiliated with, nor do I ever plan on working for FedEX. Furthermore, you'll see that I never claimed that my job is great; it isn't. The only time when I claim it's better is after some feeder guy claims that I'm jealous of him. Which is when I point out why I have no reason to be jealous.

The difference is that I'm telling the TRUTH...It is stupid when sombody lies about the company they fly for.

Those other guys are just lying. They lie about whom they work for, then they claim that I'm jealous of them, which is just stupid. They're just trying to insult me and they're lying to do it.

If you go back and look at the thread, I wasn't claiming that you're jealous of FedEx feeder types or our routes or what we get paid. I was stating that you sound like you're jealous of somebody hitting on your ex-girlfriend. Than later on stated that obviously you were the jealous type.

That last incident was just the most recent time I've heard feeder guys lying about who they work for. I've heard it at least a half dozen times in the past couple of years and it always seems to be the young guys or the social rejects.

It still think it's stupid when somebody claims they fly for FedEX when they DON'T.
