Good for you ramps. I have a buddy at AE who also did the courier thing. He got an interview for a pilot position only to be shot down. Still a great story and glad it worked out for you.
 
yeah I used to work there seasonally at the hub in mem. I have a job where I am getting m.e. turbine pic every evening so I figured if I was going to get a second job it might as well be one that can lead somewhere like fedex. Thanks for your input and good luck

Sorry to hear your friend wasn't hired. Do you have any idea why? They truly do like hiring internally.

I guess you never know. I had a couple of my interview mates (both USAF ANG dudes) get turned down as well. The reasons are kept close hold, probably for good reason (legal issues and all).
