Good thing he doesn't want to fly for FedEx.

Funny you should say gold plate. I have a Stanford grad standing here whose "paper" degree is worth thousands of times more than what'd be worth if printed on a gold plate. Same is true if your degree is from Southcentral Louisianna Tech State and you landed a job at FedEx. Then your "paper" degree would also be worth many times what'd be worth if it were printed on a gold plate!

By the way I went to boarding school so I must be uber smart.
We learned independence at 12. By the time college came around we'd been living on our own for 4 years allready.
no i saw it stupid.
What's the term. Those that do do. Those that can't teach.
No one is denying if it's required or not.
Maybe if you'd gotten your degree you would cease to be so bitter and you would have been able to come up with an original thought on your own, instead of quoting movies like "Goodwill Hunting".........Diesel said:See, the sad thing about a guy like you is in 50 years you're gonna start doing some thinking on your own, and you're gonna come up with the fact that there are 2 certainties in life. One, don't do that. And Two you dropped 150 grand on a Fricking education you could have got for a dollar fifty in late charges at the public library.
how about them apples?

I can dig it. What other wav are you trying to link, I think the page is not letting you post directly to the wav file you want us to hear. Clicking on your link just gets us a redirect to here... http://reelwavs.com/index.htmlDiesel said:FN FL you obviously failed to realize that I put that quote there hoping he'd see the humor in it as I posted it.
Duh. It's probably one of the most recognized lines of the movie. Apart from this line.

I have an analogy (college word) that may help you. No, but in the aggregate ('nother college word
Hahahaha...I wasn't going to have a drink today, but now I think I better go get one.RJDC said:I think that you could find a good lawyer that would sue FedEx for discrimination against you not having a degree.

Then it would be a shame if she misapplied her intelligence, chose (because it is a choice) not to get her degree, and ended up a smart person working for a regional, whining why she's being persecuted for not getting a "piece of paper".HighSpeedClimb said:My Daughter is in 6th grade and already knows the meaning of those "college" words.![]()
Not true.Diesel said:by the way the "dude" never went to college.
transpac said:Oh, I dunno about that. I got one of those expensive up-east degrees and I can't properly do all those English comp things that bother you so much. BTW, are those young looking boys and girls who win spelling bees actually midgets with Stanford degrees?
