UAL had labor on their BOD as well as ESOP plans. How'd that work for them?

GM is largely owned by the USGOV and the unions with BK protections but Ford is kicking their ass in sales and revenue.

The EU and NATO countries don't spend squat on defense. The US doesn't spend as much on social services. The private sector does most of it.

The US, while the leading donor nation, is also a leading lender nation.

The US is the worlds most giving to charitable causes by any measure.

The UN doesn't pay rent. I'd be fine with it, if it moved to Brussels.... or Bagdad, or Caracas or Tehran. Somehow, I don't think those professional poli-sci majors would go for that.

So the downfall of UAL was due to the token employee representation on it's BOD?

Secondly, the US ranks 23rd in charitable giving when when you compare based on percentage of Gross National Income. We give the largest $ amount, but you'd have to agree that Bill Gates giving $50 to charity and a minimum wage worker giving $10 to charity isn't the same thing.

1) worked great. They had the highest pay. Poor management and 9/11 took care of rest

2) GM ran itself into ground years ago with crap products and horrible marketing

3) as a percentage they do spend on military. Also have better educated and healthier citizens.

4) US does lend. That is true.

5) UN is here because the Soviets wanted it after WW2. Europe was destroyed. Where else should it have gone?
