FAA Mission Statement

Has anyone heard the new FAA Mission Statement?

Heck, didn't a couple of the FAA's finest fly into Mt. Grelock several years ago after departing North Adams?

Yes, there are some serious tools in the FAA (If you can't DO, teach. If you can't TEACH, go to the FAA...) but the FAA management makes it all but impossible to maintain anything but the bare minimum currency.

How do you feel when you jump into an airplane after 90 days of not turning a wheel?

But part of it is arrogance--the prudent thing to do would have a highly experienced and recently experienced pilot ride in the jumpseat. I doubt any FAA inspector would accept that. After all, THEY check US, right? TC
