A question from a poolie...With this talk of Subic Bay closing, possible French domicile, Ganzou (sp?) opening in 07, what if any benefits does the company provide? As a new hire, do you get assigned and are on your own? If you are transferred, are there moving expenses covered? Do you pay US taxes or are you exempt? Do the intl domiciles go senior or junior?

Is there still a good chance of ANC base for a new hire? Is that considered domestic? Just curious...thanks

Currently the company provides a paid move to foreign domiciles (subic bay now, CDG would also be one) and they will also pay your move back if you stay for 3 years I think. ANC does not count. The company wanted to pay for moves to ANC on the upcoming bid but ALPA wanted a permanent move package and said no thanks... Not sure what effect that will have on the new hires being assigned ANC, but if you get ANC and plan on moving there, you'll be paying your own way.
