I recently read some internal info. about "disinsecting" the airplanes in certain international cities and I had some questions about it.
1) The info said something about the crew to "disinsect the courier and cockpit prior to descent". What does that mean exactly? Do you guys actually spray something in the cockpit?
2) The ground crews are responsible to spraying the cargo areas, and "only" to notify the Captain that it's been accomplished, it says. Is there any concerns by the pilots and union of the effects of spraying in the airplanes? Do you know what they're spraying? Especially, since these other countries, probably don't have as strict of laws concerning the use of these chemicals as the U.S.
