I am hoping to get an interview soon with FED EX and was wondering other than Air INC what else is out there- like the hard test? anything would help anything-any gouge? or prep work?

PM Albie15 for the interview prep (not gouge) info.

You are talking about the two most important days in your professional career so spend the money (with a money back guarentee) and get prepared.

Start hand flying the airplane more, a lot of interviewee's have been flunking the sim profile. Go ahead and send away for your airman certificate record and national driving record and do your own background check, find out want the company is going to find out.

Good luck.

This info has been posted many times before on this site, so do a search.

Check out aviationintervies.com, their info is right on for the sim profile and test info as well as interview format.

I second Purpletail's recommendation...go to AlbieF15 on this board (www.EmeraldCoastInterviewConsulting.com) for interview prep and coaching. Many on this board have used his services, myself included, and you won't be dissappointed.

I used AIR Inc.'s recorded phone prep and it was really outdated...and that was 2 years ago...money is better spent elsewhere.

Hope this helps.

I, too, am interested in Fedex but would I be wasting my time?

Currently outsourced US pilot flying mostly international routes on 757 and 767. Total time around 7500, lots of jet SIC, rated on 737, 757 & 767 plus tubroprop; have 3 ICAO licences, done the FEX 4 TIMES in past 12 years, military (non-flying) and flight instructor background, speak 3 languages but don't have any contacts already working @ FDX.

Advice greatly appreciated as my greatest wish is to return home and fly for a US company, preferably one that values their employees (ha!).
Thanks.

thanks so much -you think air inc is still outdated - i was goign to do emerald for sure -cant beat the money back guarente -just dont know about air inc? -anyone recently use there service -thanks so much for the info guys pray for me

Thanks for the correction.

all it takes is one person to push your resume through, you look like you have good numbers for to get called...if you can find anyone who you have flown with to get your foot in the door, give them a call. A friend of mine and I walked an guy in last week, and judging from the feedback we got from the ACP he should get a call for an interveiw soon. From what the ACP said, that is the best chance to get in the door here right now. Good luck.
