shows that as of Sept 13, 2006, the federal charges were dismissed against the SWA pilot (name available via google search, I am not going to put it on the forum, if you want it, search for it).
The federal charges were dismissed and local prosecution at the state of Utah level will be pursued.
Not to toot my horn, but I never thought the federal case would be successful since the beginning.
Seeing how it is almost midnight, I am going to bed, but I recall that State of Utah charges will not fly either, I seem to recall that he did not meet the threshold for the "drunk while operating aircraft" charge or whatever Utah calls it.
