FE Written

I just took my FE written and I was wondering how other people did on their test. I got a 91%. Will that score ever come up during an interview? Do people post their results on their resumes?

I've not taken the FE written so I can't comment on my score, but...

I have seen resumes with the score on them. I have also seen resumes with the ATP written score on them. That seems pointless, but I've see it.

Took it back in 1999, got an 95%, put it on my resume when I was trying to get on with a regional, never got questioned about it during the interview. Thought it was pointless so next time around I removed it from my resume, still got hired by AWA, (and didn't get questioned about it either.... )

Air Inc. has always recommended that you put your scores for ATP and FE writtens on your resume if you get over a 90%, but I don't know if it really does any good.

If you already have the ratings it seems pointless to me to put your scores on the resume. It doesn't really show your knowledge, it only shows your ability to memorize the answers to the test questions.

It's not some master plan. I was just going to apply to UPS. I would only include the fact that I've taken the test on applications or resumes for companies that still have FE positions.

I got a 98% on the FE written and decided to proudly display my ability to memorize the answers on my resume. However, after a professional resume critique I was told to remove the score. Regardless of what you choose to do, I don't think any company really cares what your written score is if you passed.

I scored in the 90's on my FE written. When I interviewed, all they cared about was whether or not I had the FE written completed. I was hired and started out as an FE.

Realistically, I could have scored a 70 on it and I still would have got the job. The score was never even brought up. Of course, I can't speak for all of the other majors, and this was over 4 years ago too.

Don't post your score on your resume. Just put on their that you have a CURRENT written completed. Putting the score on it (unless specified) will appear dorky.

i may have appeared dorky--(still may appear that way to some including my wife but i listed my score on the resume.

my perspective was if you scored well (say 95+) list it with the date. if not-just date to show current. if you had the ticket-obv. don't list the written. this worked for me 4 years ago--not so sure what's good today. just another way to try and get resume noticed when there are so many the same.

When JH (UPS HR) called me for an interview, all she asked was if I have a CURRENT FE Written. It never came up during the interview, but you have to bring the orginal and a copy of your test scores. All I put on my resume was a "Current FE Written".
