Pros/Cons of MD11 vs The Bus??

The Bus sucks compared to the 11 IMHO. If you came from the 727 to the Bus I'm sure it's great, but to go from the 11 back to the older technology sucks plus the trips are just like the 72, it's a step in the wrong direction. Guys ask why I think it is so bad and they love it, of course they have never been on the 11.
I tell them that when they were teenagers they thought jacking off was great, until they got laid. The 11 is more like getting laid. The left seat is fun and the pay is the same as the 11 but I'll go back ASAP.

Had a bud call me today. Said a UPS bro of his at his Guard unit said we were close to a contract. Both us had no clue what he was talking about. Now I see where it came from. Wouldn't surpise me if the IPA knew about it before we did, though.

Heard a rumor on the crew bus last month that we would have a contract by summer. Didnt give much credence to it, but maybe the dude knew something. Also the language in the negotiation updates seem fairly optimistic...
